what a little $%^&#*()@^&#

From: Lea Shangraw Fox (princesslea@alamedanet.net) | Date: 2004-10-20 15:40:29 UTC-07:00
I often put my AOL email address in my boxes just to be a little more
anonymous, however that means I actually have to go check that account
from time to time. I've been fairly negligent recently, but today I
went and found the following message there:

< box,
hidden in the stump. I just decided to let you know that i read your
message
and your box is well hidden. AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SWAMP! har har har. I
put
rocks in it and chucked it in the water. Who knows, maybe a fish will
find
it. Maybe he will be a letterboxer also!

-P.S, you should put money in it next time!>>

Can you believe the nerve! I can hardly believe the little twerp took
the time to send a message. So far it does not appear that he went as
far as to go to letterboxing.org to find the other boxes that are
nearby and destroy them too. Boy, does he have a lot of bad karma
coming due!

How utterly disappointing! The worst part is that he isn't even
a "little twerp". If he is in 12th grade, he is probably 17 or 18
and definitely should know better. I am sorry for your lost work.

Is there a return addy? I would send a message back telling him what a brat he is and that he abvoiusly hasn't grown up yet! The nerve of this guy. If only his mother knew. I am sorry to hear about this, it makes us all stop and took a look at the wonderful way we teach our children. I sure am glad that my boys have enough sense and have learned to keep their hands off things that do not belong to them. God will punish him somehow someday..... grumpygrinchy wrote:

Was that for your replacement box at Crab Cove? Because I went there not long after you replaced it and it was gone again.
I share in your frustration! Too bad you can't tie a rock to him and throw him in the swamp :P

What a Bummer!! Have you checked to see if the writer was telling the truth?
Is that box missing? And, what box is it?

I have determined that this was the Neptune Beach box from the Crab
Cove series because:

1) it was in a stump
2) it was near a "swamp"
3) Crab Cove is a place where a field biology class would be likely to
go
4) it is missing

See, I didn't read all those Nancy Drew books for nothing - I am a good
detective! I've decided not to give the little creep the satisfaction
of writing him back, although DUH - who writes a note saying they have
stolen/vandalized something and use their own email address! I do like
Paul's idea of putting a curse on my boxes though - can I do it
retroactively?

Certainly! The full moon is next Wednesday the 27th (8:07 pm). Make a replica
of a *&%$#@ kid out of a sock or something, concentrate on his dastardly
act and stick a pin in it! (In the elbow or the foot or something, we don't want
to be TOO awfully destructive. . .)

I wonder if his 'field biology' class is the same class that created
the 'virus' that took down my LB clue website the other day???
Argh!!! What a jerk!!!

Princess Lea,

Are you sure you don't want to post his email address here, we could
all spam him!
